Chrysler Canada employees have donated over a million dollars to this year’s United Way campaign.
The exact amount given is $1,062,355.72. That works out to be an average donation of $324 per employee.
It is the 27th year Chrysler Canada employees have donated over $1 million.
“Giving generously to the United Way has been a long-standing tradition of our Chrysler Canada plant and office employees,” said Mike Brieda, plant manager at the Windsor Assembly Plant. “With this year’s employee donation exceeding one million dollars, the United Way is one step closer to securing their annual campaign objectives.”
The United Way’s campaign goal this year is $5.2 million.
