A 46-year-old Chatham woman has died after her vehicle left the roadway and hit a tree.
Chatham-Kent police say the woman was driving eastbound on Grande River Line near Jacob Road in Pain Court around 11 p.m. Monday night.
Emergency crews attended, however lifesaving responses were unsuccessful.
Due to the severity of the incident, the Chatham-Kent Police Service Traffic Management Section was called out and has taken over the investigation.
