Target Canada has announced the opening of an additional 20 stores, including one in Chatham later this month.

Workers are putting the finishing touches on the location in Thames Lea Plaza.

The 20 new locations officially push Target past the halfway mark for store openings this year, as the retailer plans to open 124 stores across Canada throughout 2013.

Windsor’s Target welcomed the public on March 19.

The company will also be opening stores in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan between July 16 and July 30. Eleven new stores are set to open in Ontario.

Kitchener - Laurentian Power Centre
