Virginia Scott of Chatham is one step closer to claiming her lottery win of $100,000 from the Instant Bingo Doubler Game. Scott’s sister is an employee at an OLG retail location, so the prize falls within OLG's definition of an Insider Win.
By Friday, November 25th, 2016, OLG reported that the prize claim has completed the first step of a two-step Insider Wins process. This involves an independent investigation of the claim by a third-party working in partnership with OLG's regulator, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
As part of OLG's Insider Wins process, the prize will be held for a 30-day waiting period in order for OLG to publicize the win. If there are no additional claims on this prize, it will be paid to the claimant on December 24th, 2016 based on this 30-day wait period.
The ticket was purchased at Manna Video Convenience on Grand Avenue in Chatham.
