Cleanup of a tractor trailer crash in Chatham-Kent has forced OPP to close both westbound lanes of Highway 401.
The crash happened Wednesday, just before 7:30 p.m. on the Highway 401. As a result of the cleanup, a section of the roadway between Furnival Road and Orford Road will remain closed for an undetermined amount of time.
OPP says the collision occurred when the Volvo tractor trailer left the roadway – flipping over onto its roof and came to a stop in a north ditch. No injuries are reported.
The driver, 41-year-old Jagmohan Dhoat, of Brampton, is charged with careless driving.
