Chatham-Kent police have arrested a 32-year-old Chatham man they say was in possession of stolen property.
Police received a call early Saturday morning about a possible theft from a vehicle.
When police arrived a man was spotted fleeing on a bicycle.
Const. Larry Johnson pursued the suspect and caught a man a short distance away.
The man was arrested and is being held for a bail hearing.
A cell phone was recovered and returned to the owner, police say.
The man's name has not been released.
