Chatham-Kent police have arrested a 46-year-old man after about $100 worth of chocolate bars were stolen during a break-in at the UPI Gas Bar.

Officers responded to the business on Park Avenue East around 4 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Police say the suspect or suspects forced their way into the business by damaging a door.

A man was seen riding away on a bicycle after officers flooded the area.

Through investigation, police believe it was the man was responsible for the break and enter and he was arrested.

The Chatham man has been charged with break and enter and wearing a disguise. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
