It appears speeding concerns in Chatham-Kent are valid.

The Chatham-Kent police traffic unit conducted a speed enforcement blitz on Charing Cross Road on Wednesday afternoon.

In just two hours, police say they issued 25 tickets for speeding.

Police remind motorists that speed enforcement is conducted throughout the municipality. They ask drivers to slow down and be mindful of speed limit changes when entering residential areas and smaller communities throughout Chatham-Kent.

Windsor police are also concerned about speeding. Officers set up speed traps on E.C. Row Expressway on Thursday.
