Chatham-Kent police are investigating an attempted robbery a Burger King in Chatham.

Police say the lone suspect entered the restaurant at 252 Grand Avenue West around 10:30 p.m. and demanded money.

The employee refused to hand over any cash, so the suspect left the restaurant, according to police. He was last seen fleeing the area on foot towards Thames Lea Plaza.

No one was hurt.

The suspect is described as a male between the ages of 17 and 23 years old, about 5’8” to 5’10”, with brown eyes. He was wearing a black ski mask with an open face, navy blue UCC hoodie which was pulled up over his head, black pants and black nylon gloves. He was also carrying a blue and black shoe string bag.
