A Windsor man is facing charges after a series of break and enters on Victoria Avenue.

Windsor police were called to a multi-unit residence in the 1200 block of Victoria Ave. on Tuesday after three units were ransacked.

Police say a resident arrived home to find a man standing on the front porch. When the resident approached, the man reportedly went inside the building before fleeing.

The resident then discovered that their unit had been broken into after some of their belongings were found moved and out of place.

Police discovered that items were missing from other units and conducted a search for the suspect.

Officers located a 26-year-old male a short distance away who matched the description of the suspect. According to police he was found to be in possession of some of the stolen items.

As a result a Windsor man is facing three counts of break and enter, two counts of possession of stolen property and possession of cocaine.
