Cash stolen from ATM after break-in at Wheatley arena

Chatham-Kent police are looking for a suspect after the Wheatley Area Arena was broken into and cash was stolen from the ATM machine.

Police say it happened sometime late Saturday night or early Sunday morning at the arena on Erie Street North in Wheatley.

Unknown suspect(s) forced their way in, damaged the ATM machine and stole an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.

Through investigation, it was also learned that the phone lines had been cut.
