The list of candidates running to fill a Tecumseh council seat, left vacant by the passing of Michael Rohrer, is growing.

Marian Drouillard filed her papers at town hall Monday afternoon.

The St. Clair Beach resident says she has more than 25 years of municipal experience and plans to retire as Windsor's geomatics manager in four months.

If elected, Drouillard says she'd bring her experience sitting on various city committees and volunteering for a number of causes to the role of councillor.

She joins Chris Carpenter, who announced his campaign on Sunday.

Bill Altenhof, Janet Harris, Scott Shields and Jeremy Souillere have also filed their nomination papers to run in the Oct. 14 by-election.
