Employees of Caesars Windsor voted 96.4 per cent in favour of strike authorization Sunday at the Coboto Club.

The bargaining committee from Unifor 444 wants to get a collective agreement by April 4.

"By connecting with them and hearing some of the concerns and going through the strike authorization vote, we're showing the company that we are serious about the demands we put forward and saying these things have to happen to get a collective agreement for us to be happy with bringing it back to our members as something they can respect and pass," says president Dino Chiodo, Local 444 president.

The bargaining committee says this is an opportunity to connect with membership about their priorities and concerns.

They range from wages, working standards, pensions and benefits and contracting out language.
