RJ Mitte also known as Flynn or Walt Jr. on hit show Breaking Bad was in Windsor Wednesday night, promoting his anti-bullying message across the rose city.

Mitte spoke to nearly 2,000 people at the Caboto Club, following his visit to the CTV Windsor studio.

"Of all the things that we've come to as a human society, we still have to deal with bullying,” Mitte says. “We still have to deal with people, who put people down for their beliefs and who they are!”

Mitte says bullying will always be around, but it’s a matter of knowing how to deal with it.

"People will always do this. The trick is to stand together and to be together and to be able to fight," says Mitte.

Mitte, who has cerebral palsy, the same condition as his character in Breaking Bad, however his condition in real life is not as severe.

"I hear things so much! You wouldn't believe what people would ask about the show and what people want to know,” Mitte says. “It surprises me!"

Knowing all too well the effects of bullying, Mitte says Breaking Bad gave him a platform to speak up for equality.

"I just want to be able to have people understand that it's easy to have equality and it's easy to have diversity!"

Mitte says he will continue to spread his message across Canada and the United States.

"Everyone will have a challenge to face in their life. Everyone will continue to fight for those challenges and the trick is to just always do what's right for you and to just try and bring as much light that you can into this world."
