The Windsor police explosive disposal unit was called to a Value Village location Saturday night for the report of a suspicious package.
Witnesses said a robot was used to investigate a duffel bag found in front of the store on Tecumseh Road East around 8 p.m.
Police said the call was a false alarm and the all clear was given an hour later.
