Boating season kicks into high gear this weekend and the Windsor police marine unit is hoping it’s a safe one.
Police are offering free safety equipment and vessel inspections Saturday and Sunday and again May 24-26.
Anyone not free for inspections on these days can contact the marine unit at 519 256 9777 or email wpsmarineunit@police.windsor.on.ca.
Boaters can also approach the officers at Lakeview Marina for a courtesy inspection.
