Windsor police are looking for an alleged jewelry thief.
Authorities released this surveillance picture of a man - reported to have switched a necklace at the People's Jewelers in Tecumseh Mall with a similar item.
Officers say it happened in the afternoon of Aug. 1.
Police say the man was looking at jewelry and slipped the necklace into his pocket - replacing it with another piece when the employee was distracted.
The man left the store and is believed to have driven off in a white pickup.
