The number of animals who have found forever homes this year is higher than ever.
Officials at the Windsor-Essex Humane Society say as of Tuesday, 140 additional animals have been adopted this year compared to last. A growing number they hope to see in the future.
More positive news, the humane society says fewer animals are arriving at shelters.
